Fascism and Communism were Centered on the Control of a...

Although both fascism and communism initiated in Europe and both extended their popularity in the mid-20th century, they had opposing thoughts and principles. Fascism and communism were centered around repressive political systems founded on the control of a single leader. Communism is built upon the theory of economic equality, however, fascism is focused on the glory of the state and strength is shown by violence and conquest. The definitions, political and economic systems, ideas, and the social structures are unique differences of the two. Communism is defined as a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, with actual ownership ascribed to the community or state. Fascism is interpreted as a government system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly oppressing opposition and criticism, regulating all industry and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism. Although the two were both originated in Europe, fascism and communism are t wo completely separate ideologies. Communism’s political system is known to have not one leader and focused directly on the people. This political system has never essentially been practiced; it has just used a one-party system.
